OIL SERVICE CHECKLIST
__Change oil and filter. Replace drain plug and seal ring
__Check Transmission oil level, add oil as necessary
__Check differential oil level, add oil as necessary
__Visually inspect underside of car for fluid leaks and safety
__Visually inspect brake linings and note condition.
....(Drum brake inspection invoiced separately)
__Check and adjust tire pressure to specifications
__Check battery electrolyte level, add distilled water as necessary
__Check and note coolant protection level
__Check condition of all coolant hoses
__Check condition of all accessory belts
__Check power steering fluid level, add oil as necessary
__Check all exterior lights
__Check windshield wipers and washers, add fluid as necessary
__Reset service interval indicator
OTHER SERVICES:
Renew brake fluid annually or when fluid is discolored
Replace coolant bi-annually or when electrolysis is detected
Replace power steering fluid and filter when fluid discolors
Replace transmission fluid, filter and gasket every 30,000 miles or when fluid becomes discolored. |
